This is Chipwitch Today, your daily source of reliable data upon which you can base your daily practice.
Solar activity was low with nine sunspot groups present on the visible solar disk. Background X-ray flux continued at low C-class levels, and only occasional C-class flares were observed. Region 3288 (S23W68; Ehi/beta-delta) underwent decay and its delta configuration weakened. The region was the source for most C-class flares, the largest of which was a C5.5 flare at 02/1818 UTC. Region 3293 (N13E51; Dhi/beta-delta) was the other primary region of interest. It rotated further onto the visible disk and a weak delta configuration was confirmed within the intermediate spot section. Despite the delta signature, magnetic shear throughout the region was primarily loose and only a few weak C-class and optical subflares were noted.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
Solar wind parameters were indicative of continued, elevated solar wind speeds, with likely contribution from an isolated negative polarity CH HSS. Total IMF strength averaged 5 nT and the Bz component was variable, but with more prolonged periods of southward direction the first half of the reporting period. Solar wind speed averaged about 500 km/s and the phi angle was predominantly negative, with oscillations between sectors later in the period.
There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 25% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Greetings, fellow space travelers! Gather 'round and lend me your cosmic antennae as we embark on a journey to explore the mystical marriage of Mercury and Taurus. Picture it now: Mercury, that swift-footed messenger planet, deciding to slow down and smell the roses as it waltzes into the warm embrace of Earthy Taurus. But brace yourselves, stargazers, for Mercury is currently in retrograde, which may cause the cosmic equivalent of a funky cha-cha dance!
With Mercury in Taurus, imagine our thoughts and communication taking on the practicality of a seasoned engineer mixed with the determination of a goat scaling a mountain. Loose ideas? Pfft! They'll be as obsolete as floppy disks, for our minds shall be filled with concrete values and plans sturdy enough to build a celestial fortress.
During this transit, flights of fancy and wandering thoughts will be as rare as a unicorn sighting. Instead, we shall be blessed with the gift of cosmic stability. It's like having a celestial beanbag to rest our weary minds upon. We can take our sweet time mapping out our interstellar paths and laying the groundwork for a cosmic utopia.
In conclusion, dear stardust siblings, let us rejoice in the Mercury-Taurus tango. Embrace the practical magic it brings, and remember: even when the universe tosses us into a retrograde cha-cha, we can still find our footing and dance our way to a brighter future. Peace, love, and cosmic vibes to all!
Venus
Venus is in Gemini
Venus is prograde at 25 Gem 12' 08", moving at 1.11 degrees per day, and is 144285674km away and approaching.
Greetings, cosmic voyagers! Hold on to your telescopes and lab coats, because Venus has entered the celestial playground of Gemini, and it's about to get wild! Picture this: Venus, our beloved goddess of love, is throwing a groovy interstellar party, and Gemini, the cosmic twins, are in charge of entertainment. The result? An explosion of fun, curiosity, and new experiences that'll make even Sheldon Cooper loosen his tie.
While Venus orbits 144,339,268.991917491km away (yes, we're THAT nerdy), its influence on your relationships is closer than ever! Forget about candlelit dinners; it's time for intellectual tête-à-têtes and flirty text-a-thons. That epic debate on Star Trek vs. Star Wars you've been dying to have? Now's the time, my fellow nerds! And if you're lucky, your love interest will be as excited about quantum mechanics as you are.
Venus in Gemini is like an all-you-can-eat buffet of fun and exploration. It's not about finding "the one" or getting hitched; it's about enjoying every morsel of life's delicious platter. So, couples, shake things up and surprise each other with something new. Who knows, maybe you'll discover a shared passion for LARPing or herbology.
But beware, fellow star travelers! Relationships that have gone the way of dial-up internet may struggle during this transit. It's time to refresh your cosmic connection, or risk getting lost in the void of space (aka boredom).
On the financial front, Venus in Gemini is your green light to splurge on things that fuel your inner nerd. Need a new gaming console or the latest edition of Dungeons & Dragons? Go ahead, treat yourself! Just remember to keep an eye on your galactic credits, so you don't end up like Han Solo, owing money to a bunch of angry space gangsters.
So, my cosmic comrades, let's embrace the unpredictable energy of Venus in Gemini. It's not about finding the perfect formula for love; it's about experimenting and discovering new dimensions of joy. Let's boldly go where no astrologer has gone before!
Mars
Mars is in Cancer
Mars is prograde at 20 Can 14' 37", moving at 0.55 degrees per day, and is 263135241km away and receding.
Greetings, Earthlings! As your logical and nerdy astrologer, I bring news from the cosmos: Mars, the fiery planet of initiative, is currently 263,077,536.616034687 kilometers away in the sensitive sign of Cancer. Fascinating, isn't it? While this celestial combination may seem as illogical as a Vulcan laughing, it presents intriguing opportunities for growth and progress. So, let us embark on this cosmic journey with the wisdom of Spock and the heart of a hippie.
During this interstellar voyage, Mars' fiery energy melds with the Cancerian concern for preservation, creating a cosmic casserole of action and sentimentality. We are urged to boldly go where we have not gone before, but also to honor our roots and familial connections. It is the perfect time to engage in domestic endeavors and home improvement projects – just think of it as building your very own USS Enterprise!
As Mars traverses the Crab Nebula, you may experience a heightened sense of protectiveness towards your loved ones and home base. This instinctual defensiveness can be channeled positively, like a Starfleet officer defending their crew. However, it is essential to maintain logic and reason in our actions, lest we become overly emotional and reactive, like a Klingon with a paper cut.
The challenge during Mars' expedition through Cancer is to balance our emotional connections with a direct approach to achieving our goals. While it may be tempting to rely solely on our heart's guidance, we must remember the importance of purposeful action. After all, as Mr. Spock once wisely stated, "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."
So, dear Earthlings, let us embrace this cosmic opportunity to blend our passions with our past and create a harmonious path to the future. Live long and prosper!
Jupiter
Jupiter is in Aries

Saturn
Saturn is in Pisces
Saturn is prograde at 05 Pis 33' 56", moving at 0.07 degrees per day, and is 1518952267km away and approaching.
Alright, my cosmic comrades, grab your telescopes and notepads, because Saturn's taking a dip in the Piscean pool, and it's 1519031974.603105545km away! That's right, our favorite ringed planet is currently doing the backstroke in dreamy Pisces, and it's time for some serious introspection. But don't worry, I'm here to guide you through this cosmic coaching session, Alien-style.
When the Taskmaster of the Universe (Saturn) pairs up with the Zodiac's resident daydreamer (Pisces), it's like having a personal life coach who's also a hippie guru. Gone are the days of aimlessly chasing butterflies; Saturn's got you on a mission to turn those fantasies into realities. So, dust off that novel idea, or whip out those business plans, because the celestial powers-that-be are teaming up to help you manifest your dreams.
Now, I know what you're thinking: "But Alien, I don't want Saturn poking around in my daydreams!" Well, tough cookies, my friends, because the planetary "dad" of the zodiac isn't known for respecting boundaries. But trust me, his advice is worth its weight in moon rocks. So, open up the door to your inner world, and let Saturn's constructive criticism work its magic. You'll thank me (and Saturn) later.
Of course, all this cosmic meddling in the realm of sleep and dreams might have your inner sandman feeling a bit cranky. If you find yourself tossing and turning, or waking up from anxiety-fueled nightmares, it's time to embrace your inner hippie: meditate under the stars, hug a tree, or practice some deep breathing exercises. Heck, you might even want to hit the hay a bit earlier than usual, just to give your mind time to unwind and process all that galactic guidance.
So, my interstellar amigos, remember: Saturn in Pisces is a rare cosmic opportunity for you to level up your dreams and goals. Embrace this celestial coaching session with open arms, and watch your life transform in ways you never imagined. Peace, love, and cosmic vibes to you all!

Greetings, star children! So, Pluto is hanging out in Aquarius, right? And it's currently retrograde, which is like a cosmic boomerang - things are going to get wild! Now, I know what you're thinking: "But, isn't Pluto like 5,165,998,627.759716034 km away?" Yes, my nerdy friend, it is. But don't worry, the universe has got this!
Imagine if you will, Pluto and Aquarius together at a galactic disco party. Pluto is the DJ spinning records of transformation while Aquarius breakdances to the beat of progress. Trust me, the dance floor is going to be lit, and life as we know it will never be the same!
When I say transformation, I'm not talking about getting a new haircut or swapping your Birkenstocks for combat boots. Oh no, we're diving deep into the soul! Pluto is like the cosmic Marie Kondo, making us discard old perspectives and identities that don't spark joy, so we can create space for groovier vibes.
Now, with Aquarius in the mix, we're talking about some serious futuristic stuff. Think science fiction meets Woodstock. We should expect mind-blowing advancements in science, technology, and space travel. But most importantly, we'll see a major revolution in civil rights and humanitarianism. Peace, love, and understanding, man!
The real VIPs during this time will be the ones holding hands and singing "Kumbaya" across borders and cultures. Governments and systems that previously played tug-of-war will now join forces for a cosmic game of Twister, forging new alliances for the future.
On a personal level, Pluto in Aquarius is like a celestial life coach urging us to transform our view of ourselves and our place in this funky universe. Instead of focusing on our own needs, what if we put on some rose-colored glasses and started thinking about the greater good? This is the groovy change Pluto in Aquarius wants to see in us.
So, are you ready to answer the call, star children? Let's boogie down to the beat of transformation and progress, and show the universe what we're made of! Peace, love, and cosmic hugs!
