Solar activity was moderate with background X-ray flux still at C-class levels. Eight sunspot groups were present on the visible solar disk. Region 3296 (N15W49, Ekc/beta-gamma) weakened as it lost its clear delta signature from yesterday. However, the region remained moderately magnetically complex, with a still evident anti-Hale (reverse polarity) configuration. Some growth and decay periods were observed as it still displayed instability. The region was the source of the largest flare of the period, a M2/1b (R1-Minor) flare at 10/1421 UTC. Region 3297 (N10W29, Eki/beta-gamma) underwent some spot redistribution throughout its areal coverage, but was otherwise little changed. The region was the source of weak C-class activity and optical subflares. Region 3300 (N10W13, Dao/beta) experienced early growth, followed by decay. Region 3294 (S07W33, Cso/beta) developed a few spots as it became bipolar in classification. No new Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
The solar kp index is unsettled, with retrograde effects slightly enhanced. The solar wind speed is high, making retrograde effects significantly increased!
Solar wind parameters were indicative of continued CME passage, but without any clear hint of a pending bulk plasma driver. Total IMF strength began the period in an enhanced state due to shock arrival of the 7 May CME. Early period total field levels of 20 nT were reached before unsteady decline began towards 6-7 nT by the periods end. The Bz component was mostly in a northward direction parallel with many of the varied Bt changes. However, a few brief periods of southward deflection were observed to -10 nT. Solar wind speed declined briefly shortly after shock arrival, but gradually increased again throughout the reporting period and peaked at about 680 km/s. Speeds decreased slightly to ~600 km/s later in the period. The phi angle varied, as would be expected from a CME arrival and passage.
There is a 10% chance of solar activity, with a 15% chance of a minor event, a 20% chance of a moderate event, and a 51% chance of a strong event.

Greetings, Earthlings! It's time to put on your grooviest bell-bottoms and get ready for the cosmic shindig, because Mercury is in Taurus, baby! Now, don't freak out about Mercury being 87,365,614.390838921 kilometers away (which, by the way, is an incredibly precise distance that only a science-loving astrologer would share). Instead, let's focus on what this retrograde fiesta means for all of us.
Imagine if Mercury was one of those cool nerds, you know, the ones with the thick glasses and a pocket protector full of pens. Well, when it's in Taurus, it's like it's joined forces with the practical, no-nonsense hippie who knows how to turn all that brainy chatter into something groovy and real. In other words, it's time to trade in your daydreams for some sweet, sweet reality.
As we boogie along with Mercury in Taurus, we're gifted with the ability to think like MacGyver – resourceful, grounded, and always prepared. Our conversations become less like "Dude, wouldn't it be rad if we built a spaceship out of Legos?" and more like "Hey, let's actually make a plan to build that eco-friendly tiny house we've been talking about."
So, as we all get down with the cosmic vibes, remember that Mercury in Taurus is here to help us whip our wildest ideas into shape. It's time to take off those rose-colored glasses, plant our feet on the ground, and start laying the foundation for a future that's so bright, we'll need shades. Peace, love, and happy stargazing!
Venus
Venus is in Cancer
Venus is prograde at 04 Can 00' 13", moving at 1.09 degrees per day, and is 135081704km away and approaching.
Alright, you star-loving, celestial beings! Gather 'round for some Venus-in-Cancer wisdom, served with a side of nerdy humor and a dash of cosmic love. Just imagine me, your friendly astrologer, wearing my favorite tie-dye shirt and lab coat as I tell you this tale from the far reaches of the galaxy.
So, our dear planet Venus - the goddess of affection and master of sensitivity - has cozied up to Cancer, the zodiac's ultimate nurturer. This celestial combo is like a cosmic rom-com, but with more cuddles and fewer clichés. It's time to whip out your favorite fuzzy blanket and prepare for some serious love bonding, my friends.
With Venus in Cancer, we can expect our romantic relationships to enter warp-speed towards commitment. If you've been stuck in the dating black hole or orbiting a commitment-phobe, fear not! This planetary alignment is here to rescue you like the Millennium Falcon swooping in to save the day.
But wait, there's more! As we ride this cosmic love wave, our nurturing instincts are set to skyrocket. You might find yourself channeling your inner Bob Ross and giving your home a happy little makeover, turning it into your personal sanctuary. And if you're on the prowl for new real estate, this could be the perfect time to make an offer, because Venus and Cancer are like the dynamic duo of money and property.
Now, a fair warning, my space cadets: Venus in Cancer can make us feel as moody as a cat in a spacesuit. We might experience emotional turbulence that rivals the gravitational pull of a black hole. When this happens, remember that Cancer's natural defense mechanism is to retreat faster than the speed of light. So, be mindful and try not to let your emotions trap you in a cosmic corner.
The silver lining of this emotional rollercoaster? Our hearts will be more open than ever, making it easier to attract and give love like a love-magnet pulsar that just won't quit. So, buckle up, buttercups, and get ready for a Venus-in-Cancer adventure that's out of this world!
Mars
Mars is in Cancer
Mars is prograde at 24 Can 41' 39", moving at 0.56 degrees per day, and is 273679915km away and receding.
Hold onto your lab goggles and tape up those broken glasses, my fellow space enthusiasts, for the red planet has entered the realm of the cosmic crab! That's right, Mars is currently 273,624,105.290160716km away (give or take a few millimeters) and cruising through the sensitive seas of Cancer on its prograde journey. And what does this interstellar mashup mean for us? Buckle up in your time-traveling DeLorean, because we're about to find out!
As Mars voyages through Cancer, we're gifted with a celestial combo platter of fiery Martian go-getter vibes and cozy Cancerian homebody feels. It's like the universe is inviting us to an energetic potluck where we can feast on both past and future delights. So, whip out that trusty hand-me-down apron from Grandma and start concocting a dream dish that honors family traditions while sprinkling in a dash of innovation!
Now, don't mistake Mars' galactic rendezvous with Cancer as an excuse to binge-watch Netflix in your pajamas all day (though, admittedly, that does sound tempting). Instead, channel your inner Bob the Builder and tackle those domestic tasks you've been avoiding like that black hole in the corner of your room. Trust me, your future self will thank you.
During this cosmic collaboration, you might also find yourself morphing into a fierce protector of family and friends - think Mama Bear meets intergalactic guardian. Tap into that passionate energy and advocate for those you care about, just remember to keep a level head and not let emotions steer you into asteroid fields of drama.
One teeny-weeny challenge of having Mars chillin' in cautious Cancer might be the tendency to switch from warp speed assertiveness to playing "hide and seek" with our desires. Our emotional compass might lead us on some detours, but it's all part of the interstellar adventure, right?
In conclusion, Mars in Cancer is like an epic space odyssey where we get to explore our inner galaxies while keeping one foot firmly planted on our home planet (or at least that shaggy rug in your living room). So, fire up your rocket engines, grab a bag of astronaut-approved popcorn, and prepare for a cosmic journey that merges the best of both worlds!
Jupiter
Jupiter is in Aries
Jupiter is prograde at 28 Ari 44' 32", moving at 0.23 degrees per day, and is 879557889km away and approaching.
Alright, stardust siblings, grab your lab goggles and strap on your space boots because Jupiter is in Aries, and it's about to get all kinds of cosmic up in here! With our mind-blowing buddy Jupiter being 880,379,274.969536901km away (give or take a few atoms), we're in for an astronomical adventure that even Seven of Nine would give her Borg seal of approval.
Picture this: You're on the Starship Enterprise, and Jupiter in Aries is like Captain Kirk hitting warp speed with a trail of Red Bull cans in his wake. Our celestial circuits are buzzing with cutting-edge concepts and intuitive zaps. It's time to beam up the baggage from our past lives and set phasers to "innovate" for a better future. Aries, being the space pioneers they are, will boldly go where no zodiac sign has gone before.
Now, don't go thinking this is some slow-paced spacewalk, my interstellar intellects. Oh no, with Jupiter in Aries, we're all about grabbing inspiration by its cosmic coattails and launching ourselves into the great unknown. Hesitation is so last light-year, and ain't nobody got time for that!
This galactic transit isn't about sitting in Astrology 101, taking notes from Professor Planets. It's more like a DIY crash course in self-learning, complete with hands-on experiments and the occasional singed eyebrow. So embrace your inner mad scientist and let your curiosity lead the way!
But be warned, astro-aficionados, there's a dark side to this celestial story. Our opinions can heat up faster than a supernova, threatening to turn friendly debates into intergalactic showdowns. So while we're channeling our inner Spock, let's not forget the wise words of Captain Picard: "The first duty of every Starfleet officer is to the truth… or the truth that is learned." Open your mind to new perspectives, and don't be afraid to engage in a little Vulcan mind-meld every now and then.
As Jupiter orbits through Aries, remember that we're all captains of our own destinies. When we harness the cosmic energy within us, we can unlock hidden treasure troves of opportunity, wisdom, and cosmic good vibes. So beam

Don't be surprised if you find yourself daydreaming of opening that vegan bakery or finally writing that sci-fi novel about robots in love. So, grab your notepads and prepare for some otherworldly guidance during this cosmic coaching session!
Now, I must warn you, Saturn in Pisces isn't all sunshine and daisies (or patchouli oil and kombucha). Our big ol' planetary "dad" might just barge into our daydreams like R2-D2 crashing a party, questioning every little detail. But don't go slapping a "Keep Out" sign on your mental door just yet! Embrace the energy and listen up, because Saturn's advice is like Yoda's wisdom – cryptic but invaluable.
With all this focus on the dreamy world of Pisces, you might find your sleep schedule going haywire like a malfunctioning droid. To counteract this cosmic restlessness, channel your inner hippie and find your zen. Meditate with crystals, take a moonlit stroll through the forest, or just breathe deeply while humming your favorite Star Wars theme. And hey, why not hit the hay a little early? Give yourself extra time to drift off into dreamland (just make sure you have that dream journal handy!).
So, fellow space cadets, let's tune into the lessons of Saturn in Pisces and get ready to make our wildest dreams a reality. May the force (and the planets) be with you!

Neptune
Neptune is in Pisces
Neptune is prograde at 27 Pis 00' 48", moving at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 4562997762km away and approaching.
Greetings, earthlings and fellow time-travelers! Have you ever found yourself gazing at the stars, contemplating the vastness of the universe, and suddenly realizing that your favorite socks have disappeared into the vortex of the laundry dimension? Well, my dears, that's because Neptune has gone all Piscean on us, and it's time for some cosmic clarity!
Now, I know what you're thinking - "River, how is Neptune being 4563050873.011862755km away going to help me find my socks?" The truth is, it probably won't. But what it will do is grant us a unique form of sight that allows us to see beyond the trivialities of life and into the heart of what truly matters - like saving the universe from impending doom, or understanding why bow ties are undeniably cool.
With Neptune swirling about in its prograde dance, the Piscean focus on emotion and spirit blends with Neptune's gravitational pull to unify all things. It's like a cosmic smoothie that suddenly makes us realize that arguing about whether Pluto is a planet or not is utterly futile. What really counts is coming together as one big intergalactic family and forging a path towards wholeness and peace (and maybe even finding those missing socks).
This celestial soiree is also the perfect time to explore our own emotional intelligence and figure out just what we can contribute to the greater good of the cosmos. Perhaps it's time to enroll in a course on telepathy or build your very own TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space) in your backyard. And don't worry - with Neptune in Pisces, the force is definitely with you!
So, dear companions, let us embrace the energy of Neptune in Pisces as we journey through time and space, sharing our ideas and dreams for a better universe. Together, we can make the cosmos a brighter, more harmonious place - and maybe, just maybe, find those elusive missing socks.
Remember, in the words of the Doctor, "We're all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"
