This is Chipwitch Today, your daily source of reliable data upon which you can base your daily practice.
Solar activity was low. A region just beyond the southeastern limb produced a long duration C2.9 flare which ended near 15/0933 UTC. Region 3306 (S18W50, Bxo/Beta) was the culprit for a C3.4 flare at 15/0051 UTC, which was the largest of the period. Other notable activity included the growth and development of Region 3305 (N10W03, Dai/Beta-Gamma) as it formed additional trailing spots, giving it a slightly more magnetically complex configuration. The remaining ARs were relatively little changed and quiet in comparison, and otherwise unremarkable. No Earth-directed CMEs have been noted as of the time of this writing.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
Solar wind parameters continued to reflect waning, weak enhancements from the previous periods CME influence. Total field ranged 4-6 nT, the Bz component was mostly northward, but did reach a brief southward deflection of -5 nT near 15/1832 UTC. Wind speeds gradually declined over the course of the period from ~520 km/s to ~450 km/s. Phi was predominantly in a positive solar sector.
There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 20% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
The waning moon is currently in Aries, at 12 degrees, 54' 03", at a velocity of 13.74 degrees per day.

The next new moon is at 15:55:56, 19 May, 2023. The next full moon is at 3:43:56, 4 Jun, 2023.

Now, a word of caution, fellow space travelers: With all this emotional energy swirling around, you might find yourself feeling moodier than a hormonal teenager. Friendships and romantic relationships could become as delicate as a house of cards. And if you get hurt, you might be tempted to go full-on Cancer and retreat into your shell. But don't worry, this emotional rollercoaster comes with an upside: your heart will be wide open, making it easier to give and receive love like never before.
So, embrace this Venus in Cancer experience, even if it makes you feel like you're trapped in an emotional sci-fi movie. After all, in the immortal words of Snake Plissken, "I thought you were dead." Turns out, our hearts are very much alive and kicking. Enjoy the ride!
Mars

Mars is prograde at 27 Can 30' 37", moving at 0.57 degrees per day, and is 280085676km away and receding.
Greetings, stargazers and space nerds! Buckle up, because we're gonna talk about Mars in Cancer, and it's gonna be a cosmic rollercoaster ride. Picture this: Mars, the fiery space warrior, decides to take a vacation at its intergalactic beach house in Cancer. Yeah, that's right - Mars is ditching the battlefield for some good old-fashioned family time, and we're all invited!
Now, don't get me wrong, Mars may be taking a break from its usual action-packed lifestyle, but that doesn't mean it's going full-on couch potato. Oh no, my fellow space enthusiasts, Mars in Cancer is all about DIY, home improvement, and preserving memories like an interstellar scrapbooker. So, grab your toolbox and your favorite hammer, because this party is just getting started!
And speaking of parties, Mars in Cancer is also a fierce defender of its celestial family. If you've ever wanted to channel your inner superhero and fight for the rights of your loved ones or domestic situations, now's the time. Sure, Mars may be swapping its armor for an apron, but don't underestimate the power of a cosmic mama bear!
But, beware, fellow star travelers! Mars in Cancer can make us more sensitive than a solar flare in the vacuum of space. We might find ourselves reacting to situations with the intensity of a supernova rather than taking a more logical, calculated approach. So, let's try to keep our emotions in check, or we could end up floating aimlessly through the asteroid field of misunderstandings.
In conclusion, my friends, it's time to embrace Mars in Cancer's unique blend of cosmic energy. Let's honor our past, nurture our present, and build a future that's as bright as the Milky Way. And remember, even if Mars is 280,031,170.113016665km away, its influence can still reach us like a warm, interstellar hug. So, happy homecoming, Mars, and let the galactic family reunion begin!

As you zoom through the galaxy of self-empowerment, remember to keep your communication channels open. After all, every good Starfleet captain knows the importance of diplomacy and teamwork.
So, what's the bottom line? During this epic Jupiter-in-Aries adventure, your mission – should you choose to accept it – is to create your own luck, boldly exploring new frontiers and embracing your inner trailblazer. While Saturn may be the Master of Rules, its journey through Pisces is like swapping out that stiff suit for a tie-dye shirt and love beads. It's time to take those wild and wacky daydreams—starting that organic tofu farm or opening a cat cafe on Mars—and give them legs. Or wheels. Or rocket boosters. Whatever floats your cosmic boat!
But beware, space cadets: Saturn in Pisces isn't all moonbeams and daisy chains. The cosmic dad is here to ask some tough questions about those dreams we've been hiding under our psychic pillows. We might feel a bit invaded, like our personal galaxy is being probed by nosy extraterrestrials. But fear not! Embrace Saturn's advice, even if it feels like a cosmic wedgie. Trust me, it's for our own good.
And with all this attention on Pisces, the celestial snooze-button, expect some sleep disruptions. You might find yourself tossing and turning like a rogue asteroid tumbling through space. So, my interstellar insomniacs, it's time to channel your inner Zen: meditate, take a moonlit stroll, practice deep space breathing, or take an alien-approved power nap (just don't forget that dream journal!). Prioritize your cosmic beauty sleep, and make sure you're well-rested for the next phase of your intergalactic journey.
