Solar activity was at low levels. Region 3354 (N13W30, Fkc/beta-gamma-delta) produced the strongest event of the period, a C5.7/1f flare at 30/1003 UTC. The region developed a small delta configuration between some of of the recently developed intermediate spots. No significant development was observed among the remaining four other numbered and spotted active regions. Flux was observed rotating on to the SE limb but more observatory reports are needed before assigning active region numbers.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
Weak enhancements were observed in the solar wind. Total magnetic field strength was slightly elevated and ranged between 3-7 nT. Bz only briefly reached -5 nT at 06/0330 UTC and 06/0639 UTC. Solar wind speeds increased from ~450 km/s to between ~500-550 km/s over the past 24 hours. Phi angle transitioned from negative to positive at 06/0130 UTC which suggested passage of a SSBC.
There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 25% chance of a minor event, a 5% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Alright, folks, dust off your opera glasses and prepare for the celestial spectacle of the year! Venus, our beloved goddess of love and beauty, has just sashayed into Leo's fiery spotlight, and darlings, she's not here to play small. This is going to be grander than a supernova and hotter than a white dwarf star.
When Venus, the cosmic sweetheart, prances into the realm of Leo, the king of drama, it's like watching a celestial telenovela unfold. Prepare for declarations of love that could outshine the Sun itself and dates that make rom-coms look like documentaries. And jealousy? Oh, honey, when Venus is in Leo, jealousy isn’t just a green-eyed monster, it's a full-blown constellation.
Buckle up, star gazers, because no one is looking to be simply liked during this transit. No, siree! We want to be adored. In fact, we want our names written in the stars, preferably in neon. But remember, channeling your inner diva might leave you with only one name on the marquee: yours. So, don't forget about the "we" in your duet, or you might end up singing a solo.
And what about money, you ask? Well, when Venus is in Leo, money is less of a currency and more of an accessory. It's all about spending big to feel big. Leo's penchant for glitz, glamour, and “Go big or go home” attitude may tempt you to splurge a little (or a lot). But remember, Leo is also about generosity. So, go on, spread the wealth! After all, showering others with thoughtful gifts will fill you with more joy than a shopping spree at the intergalactic Gucci.
To sum it up, Venus in Leo is a cosmic carnival of color, a time to rekindle the passion in your relationships and remind yourself that a life devoid of a bit of drama and excitement is like Pluto without its heart-shaped glacier - just not as fun!
Mars
Mars is in Leo
Mars is prograde at 24 Leo 25' 21", moving at 0.6 degrees per day, and is 330892008km away and receding.
Jupiter
Jupiter is in Taurus
Jupiter is prograde at 09 Tau 19' 42", moving at 0.17 degrees per day, and is 806366707km away and approaching.
So, Jupiter, our wise old uncle of the galaxy, has clocked in at 806441683.139794827km away (yes, I counted. Nerdy, remember?). He's currently doing the cosmic equivalent of a moonwalk called prograde. Who said planets couldn't get their groove on?
Let's talk about what this means for us tiny Earthlings. Jupiter is basically our gym trainer, always pushing us to think deeper, while Taurus, our steadfast friend, reminds us that we already have the answers... if only we could remember where we put them. It's like constantly looking for your glasses when they are on your head.
When these two team up, it's like having Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi guiding you. You've got Jupiter's thirst for growth and Taurus' stubborn determination cheering you on, like a cosmic motivational speaker yelling, "Trust in the Force, and you'll reach that goal!"
Now, let's chat about prosperity. Jupiter is the Oprah of the planetary system, always dishing out good luck, while Taurus is the Jeff Bezos, synonymous with wealth. So, with Jupiter in Taurus, there's a pretty good chance you might find a tenner in your old jeans or hit the jackpot. (I'm not making any guarantees though, so don't quit your day job just yet.)
But here's the catch: Taurus loves the good life – fine wine, gourmet cheese, the works. And now that Jupiter, the Santa Claus of planets, is in town, Taurus might be tempted to overindulge. So, remember folks, just because you can eat the entire cake, doesn't mean you should. Leave some for the rest of us!
So, as we journey through this celestial event, remember to tap into your inner wisdom, work towards your dreams, and maybe buy a lottery ticket. But most importantly, enjoy the ride. After all, how often do you get to witness a planetary moonwalk?
Saturn
Saturn is in Pisces
Saturn is retrograde at 07 Pis 03' 37", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 1377779241km away and approaching.
Oh boy, buckle up folks because Saturn—our favorite cosmic taskmaster—is currently crashing the dreamy Pisces party like a rocket scientist at a Renaissance fair. Now, don't panic! This isn't a disaster, it's an opportunity. Imagine, if you will, that Saturn is your personal life-coach, armed with a whistle, clipboard, and a heart full of tough love. He's about to whip those nebulous Piscean dreams into a workable action plan, faster than you can say "quasar."
What does this mean for you? It's time to dust off that daydream of writing 'War and Peace 2: Tolstoy Strikes Back,' or launching your artisanal, eco-friendly, gluten-free, vegan cupcake business. Saturn is here to remind us that dreams are great, but they're even better when they aren't just used as bedtime stories.
Okay, so having Saturn invade your dream space might feel a bit like your dad walking in on you practicing your air guitar solo. Embarrassing? Sure. Necessary? Absolutely! Saturn's not here to ruin the fun, he's here to turn that air guitar into a real Stratocaster. So, put down the hairbrush, pick up a microphone and let's get this show on the road!
Now, Saturn's visit to Pisces might make you feel a bit like you've had five cups of coffee right before bed. You're restless, potentially irritable and there's a high chance of pillow tossing. But fear not, my star children. Embrace the insomnia. Meditate. Take a moonlit walk. Breathe like you're trying to inflate a galaxy. And if all else fails, count sheep...or stars, or moons of Jupiter, whatever works for you!
Yes, Saturn in Pisces might have us feeling like we've been hit by a cosmic defibrillator, but hey, sometimes that's what we need to kickstart those dreams into reality. So, grab that notepad, strap on your astronaut helmet, and let's turn those dreams into a mission plan. Over and out!
Uranus
Uranus is in Taurus
Uranus is prograde at 21 Tau 42' 51", moving at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 3039090392km away and approaching.
Neptune
Neptune is in Pisces
Neptune is retrograde at 27 Pis 41' 13", moving backwards at 0 degrees per day, and is 4441382086km away and approaching.
Pluto
Pluto is in Capricorn
Pluto is retrograde at 29 Cap 36' 35", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 5063186213km away and approaching.
"Fascinating." That's probably how our beloved Vulcan, Mr. Spock, would react if he learnt that Pluto, the dwarf planet best known for its on-again, off-again planetary status (talk about relationship issues), is currently in Capricorn and in retrograde. Now, you might be thinking, "What's the big deal? It's just a tiny ice-rock billions of kilometers away!" But oh boy, are you in for a surprise!
Pluto and Capricorn together are like Starfleet's finest, dedicated, disciplined and focused on their mission. The only problem? They're both as stubborn as a Tellarite in a debate, prone to dismissing other viewpoints faster than a redshirt meets his unfortunate end on an away mission. So, during this planetary transit, you might find yourself behaving like a Borg, intolerant of any ideas that don't assimilate with your own.
But wait, there's more! Pluto, being the cosmic embodiment of that roommate who constantly urges you to declutter your life, wants us to ditch our counterproductive habits. Now, we all know that change is as welcome as a surprise encounter with the Klingons, but remember, even the destruction of the Death Star led to the creation of a better, stronger Rebel Alliance.
So, as Pluto goes on its backward journey, it's time for some introspection. Pick up your metaphorical phaser, set it to 'change', and get ready to boldly go where no one has gone before. And remember, in the wise words of Spock, “Change is the essential process of all existence.”
