This is Chipwitch Today, your daily source of reliable data upon which you can base your daily practice.
Solar activity reached high levels, while the background X-ray flux continued at C-class levels and twelve spot groups were present on the visible solar disk. New NOAA/SWPC Region 3372 (N22E75, Hkx/alpha) was assigned to a newly rotated into view spot group that was too foreshortened for a more accurate analysis. However, the most recent NASA/SDO imagery suggests more complexity and extent to this region is quite likely. This AR was the source of multiple M-class (R1/R2-Minor/Moderate) flares today, to include the two largest events - an M6.8 flare (R2-Moderate) at 11/1808 UTC and an M5.8 flare (R2-Moderate) at 11/2215 UTC. Region 3361 (N25W51, Dhi/beta-gamma) underwent some decay in the trailer section, but growth in the intermediate section. The region produced optical subflares but no M-class activity. Region 3166 (S11W67, Cso/beta) underwent some minor changes, with a slight decaying trend. Region 3167 (N10W27, Dsi/beta-gamma) underwent some minor decay, but retained a weak mixed polarity signature. Region 3363 (S21E05, Cko/beta) underwent additional growth, but no increased complexity or enhanced magnetic shear. All remaining regions underwent minor changes or some decay.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently normal.
Solar wind parameters were indicative of a slow, but mildly disturbed regime. Total IMF strength increased to 8 nT; while the Bz component experienced a few periods of prolonged southward deviation. Solar wind speed was primarily between 300-350 km/s and the phi angle was predominantly positive.
There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 15% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Get ready, folks, because love is about to get louder than a spaceship launch! When Venus, our resident goddess of affection, struts into Leo's territory, it's like she's donning a sequin-covered jumpsuit and belting out love songs from the top of a grand piano. Everyone grab your opera glasses because this is about to get dramatic!
Forget about casual 'likes' and awkward appreciations, with Venus in Leo, we all turn into love-thirsty divas demanding nothing less than adoration. A little risky romance? A grand gesture of devotion? Oh yes, please! Those playing it safe might as well be orbiting Pluto right now, because they're not going to be noticed under this love supernova.
Of course, with Venus in Leo, love isn't just a gentle summer breeze, it's more like an erratic meteor shower. Leo, our celestial lion, loves a good frolic but also has a flair for drama. If we're not getting the star treatment we think we deserve, we might just let out a roar that would scare a T-Rex. A bit of advice from your favorite space hipster: avoid turning relationships into a space opera. Remember, 'we' is a lot bigger than 'me' and focusing too much on the 'me' might leave you floating alone in the cosmos.
Speaking of stars, when Venus is in Leo, money starts to look less like currency and more like cosmic glitter. We're not just spending, we're investing in the glamorous life. Leo loves a bit of sparkle, so don't be surprised if your wallet feels a bit lighter during this transit. But remember, being generous is part of Leo's charm. Giving others a taste of the starry life might just bring you more happiness than hoarding it all for yourself.
In short, Venus in Leo is like a cosmic carnival. It's boisterous, extravagant, and a little over the top. But hey, isn't that what makes life fun? So, let your love light shine bright and enjoy the ride – just remember to keep one foot on the ground so you don't float away!
Mars
Mars is in Virgo
Mars is prograde at 01 Vir 04' 54", moving at 0.61 degrees per day, and is 340621679km away and receding.
Alright folks, grab your telescopes and strap in because Mars has just entered the realm of Virgo. Now, for those of you who've been stargazing with me long enough, you'll know that when Mars and Virgo get together it's like pairing a hyperactive kid with an obsessive-compulsive librarian. Doesn't sound like a promising match, does it? But stick with me, folks. This could be more beneficial than you think.
The red planet is all about action, and Virgo is the queen of efficiency. So while Mars is doing its thing in Virgo's house, you might find yourself becoming a productivity ninja, cutting out all the unnecessary fluff from your daily routine. You'll be churning out tasks faster than a factory assembly line. And hey, maybe you'll finally find time to learn how to knit or perfect your souffle recipe!
Virgo rules over the 6th House of Squats and Green Smoothies (that's Health and Self-improvement for those not familiar with my lingo), so don't be surprised if you suddenly feel the urge to morph into a fitness guru or start meal prepping. Just remember, Mars in Virgo loves routine, so whatever healthy habits you pick up now might just become permanent parts of your life. Who knows, you might be the next Instagram fitness sensation!
However, like any cosmic cocktail, there's a little bit of a kick. Virgo's perfectionism mixed with Mars' fiery nature could turn you into a bit of a nitpicker, ready to erupt at the slightest inefficiency. Remember, not everyone has the same obsession with color-coded spreadsheets as you do right now. Try to keep your cool and avoid turning this perfectionism inward too. Your mirror doesn't need you analyzing every pore with a magnifying glass!
So instead of zoning in on every little imperfection, use this time and energy to tackle projects that require attention to detail. That budget you've been avoiding? Tackle it! That job hunt you've been putting off? Go for it! With Mars in Virgo, there’s no better time to take care of your personal business. So, roll up your sleeves, folks! There's work to be done.
Jupiter
Jupiter is in Taurus
Jupiter is prograde at 11 Tau 07' 13", moving at 0.15 degrees per day, and is 783893793km away and approaching.
Alright folks, buckle up, because the universe is about to throw a metaphorical pot of cosmic gold your way. You see, Jupiter – that big ol' ball of wisdom and good fortune – has parked itself right in Taurus, the zodiac's version of a Wall Street tycoon. That's right, the planet known for its philosophical ponderings and the sign notorious for its love of the finer things are having a cosmic meet-and-greet, and guess who's invited? Yep, you are!
"But what does this mean?" I hear you ask. Well, imagine Yoda doing your taxes, or Warren Buffet giving you life advice over a cup of fair-trade, organic coffee. That's the kind of energy we're dealing with. Jupiter in Taurus is like finding a Starbucks card in the pocket of a jacket you haven't worn since last winter. It’s about more than just the caffeine high though, it’s the unexpected joy and the realization that maybe, just maybe, past you wasn’t as forgetful as you thought.
This planetary party is your ticket to turning dreams into realities. Think of it as a cosmic nudge to get your ducks in a row, make a plan, and start ticking off those goals. Remember, slow and steady wins the space race. Patience is key here, folks. Before you know it, you'll be crossing off items on your to-do list faster than light speed.
Now, let's talk money. With Jupiter in Taurus, you've got the luck of the Irish meeting the practicality of... well, Taurus. It's high time you took a peek at your finances and looked for ways to grow. And hey, if you want to splurge a bit, Taurus won't mind. Just remember, there's a fine line between treating yourself and diving headfirst into a pool of chocolate like some cosmic Augustus Gloop. Balance, my dear astrology enthusiasts, is key.
So remember, as the cosmic gears grind into place and Jupiter settles into Taurus, it's time to embrace wisdom, patience, and perhaps a dash of indulgence. Just don't forget to send me a postcard from your journey to success!
Saturn
Saturn is in Pisces
Saturn is retrograde at 06 Pis 43' 35", moving backwards at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 1356048404km away and approaching.
Well, look at that, our dear ringed grandpa Saturn has taken a detour and decided to park his cosmic RV in the watery domain of Pisces! Now, you might be thinking "What's Saturn doing in my dreamy neighborhood?", but don't worry, he's not here to rain on your parade. More like a demanding life coach, he's here to ensure you turn those nebulous daydreams into bona fide realities.
Don't believe me? Just ask Saturn. Oh wait, he's 1,356,111,875.425938606 kilometers away. Never mind then. Anyway, when Saturn, the taskmaster of the cosmos, meets Pisces, the keeper of dreams, it's like an episode of "Undercover Boss". Mr. Saturn is checking in to see what dreams have been fermenting in the basement and, trust me, he's not going to let you slack off now.
But let's face it, this transit isn't exactly a cosmic tea party. Saturn has a habit of getting all up in your business, asking uncomfortable questions like, "When are you actually going to start writing that novel?" or "Have you considered taking out a loan for that business idea?" It's like living with a celestial version of Sherlock Holmes. But hey, take a deep breath, pull up a chair, and let him do his thing. He's like the strict dad who only wants the best for you, even if his methods seem intrusive.
Now, with Saturn's visit to Pisces, you may feel as if you've swallowed an alarm clock. Your sleep could be interrupted, anxiety levels may rise, and restlessness may become your new normal. This is where you whip out your inner Zen master. Meditate, take a walk in a forest (real or imaginary, no judgement here), breathe like you're in a yoga class, and maybe indulge in a power nap (with a dream journal handy, of course!).
Remember, the universe is whispering its wisdom into your ears during this transit. So, tune in, take notes, and prepare to turn those daydreams into your reality. And hey, while you're at it, tell Saturn to put the toilet seat down. Good luck!
Uranus
Uranus is in Taurus
Uranus is prograde at 22 Tau 09' 20", moving at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 3017043194km away and approaching.
Alright, space cowboys and cowgirls, buckle up! We're in for a cosmic rodeo as our dear friend Uranus has decided to play bull in Taurus' china shop. Now, if you know anything about Taurus, it's that they like their tea sets just the way they are - orderly, predictable, and preferably not being charged at by a giant celestial body. But, alas! Life, the universe, and everything (42, anyone?) have other plans.
See, Uranus is kind of like that eccentric uncle who shows up uninvited to family events and starts debates about whether Pluto should be reinstated as a planet. It's all about shaking things up, pushing boundaries, and generally causing a ruckus. So, when it strolls into Taurus' territory, you better believe there's going to be change.
Now, Taurus is the Warren Buffett of the zodiac - they know a thing or two about the green stuff. But with Uranus' visit, we might see some serious disruption in the world of finance. We're talking new forms of currency popping up, banks getting a makeover, and the housing and stock markets having a bit of a wobble. Hey, maybe we'll finally get those Star Trek credits we've been dreaming about!
On a personal level, this transit is like a 'Get Out of Debt Free' card from Monopoly. It's asking you to rethink your relationship with money and material possessions. Got a pile of credit card bills that's taller than you? Uranus is here to help you find a way out. Feel like your life is dictated by the relentless cycle of rent, mortgages, and taxes? It's time to break free, my friend.
So, while this may feel like turbulence in the starship of life, remember: change is the only constant in the universe. Embrace it, ride the wave, and you might just find yourself in a better place when the dust settles. And remember, resistance is futile (sorry, couldn't resist another nerdy reference!).
So, as Uranus gleefully rampages through Taurus' well-ordered world, let's hold onto our hats (and our wallets) and see where this wild ride takes us. Who knows, maybe at the end we'll all be happier, wealthier,
