Solar activity was low. Region 3410 (S30W75, Axx/alpha) produced an impulsive C5.8/Sf flare at 19/0648 UTC. Two C-class flares from late on 18 Aug produced a pair of CME signatures that were both modeled as Earth misses. No other potentially Earth-directed CMEs were identified in available coronagraph imagery. All regions on the visible disk were either stable or in gradual decay.
The solar kp index is unsettled, with retrograde effects slightly enhanced. The solar wind speed is high, making retrograde effects significantly increased!
Solar wind parameters suggested the continued influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Total magnetic field strength was mostly steady at 2-5 nT for the first half of the period and gradually increased to about 8 nT by the end of the period. Bz was mostly neutral to positive before showing a negative drop to -6 nT at periods end. Solar wind speeds ranged from ~430-520 km/s for the majority of the period. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in the negative sector.
There is a 15% chance of solar activity, with a 1% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

The Moon
The Moon is in Libra
The Moon is at 09 Lib 12' 17", and is 401628km away and approaching.
Mercury
Mercury is in Virgo
Mercury is prograde at 21 Vir 16' 48", moving at 0.31 degrees per day, and is 111834986km away and approaching.
Do you hear that? No, it’s not the sound of the TARDIS materializing in your backyard. That’s Mercury, zooming into Virgo like a Dalek on a mission. Oh, and just a heads up, Mercury is currently a whopping 111936505.654289857km away. So, no worries about any immediate alien invasion.
Now, what does this mean for you? Well, let's break it down. With Mercury in Virgo, your mind becomes as sharp as a sonic screwdriver. Your speech? Precise as a Dalek's aim. There's no time for sugar-coating or waffling about Timey-Wimey stuff. We're cutting through the space-time continuum to get straight to the point.
Virgo, the celestial equivalent of a whizz-kid with a Rubik’s cube, has a knack for stripping out the unnecessary fluff. So, while Mercury is doing its thing in Virgo, your ability to analyse information quicker than K-9 could calculate Pi to a thousand decimal places, becomes your new superpower.
Productivity levels? Off the chart! We're talking Gallifreyan levels of progress. No more getting stuck in a temporal loop of dead-end ideas or conversations that feel like they're stuck in a time lock. Details and useful information become your best friends, making this a time of great forward movement. Or as a Dalek might put it, "Advance! Advance!"
But be warned, fellow Whovians. During this cosmic event, we can develop a Dalek-like focus on finding faults. Yes, it's all very well wanting to EXTERMINATE flaws, but we risk insulting others or even becoming our own worst critics. So take a leaf out of the Doctor's book and remember, tact is key. Even a Dalek knows how to say 'please'... well, in their own unique way.
So there you have it. Mercury in Virgo. Your time to shine brighter than the Medusa Cascade. Just remember to keep your sonic screwdriver handy and always be kind. Allons-y!
Venus
Venus is in Leo
Venus is retrograde at 16 Leo 26' 25", moving backwards at 0.54 degrees per day, and is 44146203km away and receding.
Mars
Mars is in Virgo
Mars is prograde at 25 Vir 20' 50", moving at 0.64 degrees per day, and is 366835156km away and receding.
Buckle up stargazers, because Mars, the interstellar poster child of impulsiveness, is currently doing the cosmic tango with Virgo, the zodiac's resident neat-freak. Imagine if you will, a fiery, headstrong warrior trying to organize his sock drawer by color, material and level of cosmic dust absorption. Yes, that’s the kind of vibe we’re dealing with.
Mars in Virgo is like having your personal drill sergeant - with a PhD in efficiency studies - guiding you through life. Suddenly, you’re not just doing things, you’re doing them with clockwork precision, so much so, you might even start timing how long it takes you to brush your teeth and incessantly trying to beat your previous record.
And health, oh boy! You're going to be more committed to your well-being than an alien obsessed with human anatomy. Don't be surprised if you wake up one morning and decide to run a marathon. Or suddenly swap your regular pizza for a kale salad. (Hey, stranger things have happened in the universe!)
But beware, my celestial comrades, for this transit can turn us into fault-finding machines. You might find yourself critiquing everything from your partner's dishwashing skills to the way the neighbor's cat meows. Remember, folks, not everyone operates at Spock-level perfection. A bit of patience goes a long way in preventing intergalactic warfare.
So, instead of channelling your newfound energy into finding faults in every corner of the cosmos, why not focus on making your own galaxy a better place? Balance that budget, plan that trip to Alpha Centauri, learn Klingon or finally get around to assembling that IKEA flat-pack furniture that's been gathering dust. There’s no better time for such projects than Mars in Virgo!
Remember, my stars-struck friends, this cosmic combo is all about efficiency, self-improvement, and a dash of good humor. So, let's channel our inner Sheldon Cooper and boldly go where no Mars in Virgo has gone before!
Jupiter
Jupiter is in Taurus
Jupiter is prograde at 15 Tau 11' 47", moving at 0.05 degrees per day, and is 696676967km away and approaching.
Alright, folks. Grab your red pills and let's dive down the rabbit hole. Jupiter, our solar system's largest planet (and no, I don't mean your ex), is making its grand tour through Taurus, the zodiac's version of a luxurious, comfort-loving couch potato. It's like if The Big Lebowski met with Neil deGrasse Tyson for a cosmic chat.
First things first, let's remember that Jupiter is the Gandalf of planets - the good wizard stirring up wisdom and deep thought. And Taurus? Well, Taurus is more of the hobbit type, a creature of habit, happy to stay put and enjoy the finer things in life. But even Bilbo Baggins eventually left the Shire, right?
So, what happens when you mix the celestial Dumbledore with an astrological hobbit? Well, it's your opportunity to follow the white rabbit and tap into that inner wisdom that's been chilling out like an ignored Netflix subscription. It's time for a spiritual spring cleaning, folks!
Jupiter in Taurus is like having your personal life coach cheering you on from the sidelines as you make those dream boards and to-do lists a reality. It's about swapping your "one day" for "day one." And with Jupiter's "go big or go home" attitude combined with Taurus' stubborn determination, there's no stopping you now.
And here's the really fun part - Jupiter in Taurus can make it rain! Literally. This transit is like finding a lucky penny in the pocket of your favorite jeans, but on a much larger scale. Just remember, Taurus might love the good life, but it's not about greed. It's about prospering in all aspects of life, not just your bank account.
So as Jupiter moseys through Taurus, remember to take some time to appreciate the beauty around you, and maybe even indulge a little. After all, isn't life too short not to enjoy that second slice of pizza?
But be warned: Taurus has a tendency to overindulge and Jupiter can expand anything it touches. So, try not to confuse "treat yourself" with "eat the entire cake". Balance is key, people. Or as Neo would say, "There is no spoon... because I ate
Saturn
Saturn is in Pisces
Saturn is retrograde at 04 Pis 22' 10", moving backwards at 0.07 degrees per day, and is 1312103999km away and approaching.
Alright, cosmic cats and kittens, brace yourselves because Saturn, the Grand Poobah of the cosmos, just pulled a Pisces! And it's retrograde, to boot! Now I know what you're thinking - "Holy Nebula, not another retrograde!" - but hear me out. This is an opportunity dressed up as a cosmic conundrum.
Saturn in Pisces is like your somewhat stern but well-meaning auntie who insists on cleaning up your room, whether you like it or not. It's all for our own good, she says, while we grumble and put "Stay Out" signs on the door. But here's the kicker - Auntie Saturn has a point. Those dreams of writing a book or opening a vegan-friendly, sustainably-sourced, fair-trade coffee shop? It's time to dust them off and turn them into reality.
This celestial pairing of Saturn, the cosmic taskmaster, and Pisces, the dreamy mystic, is all about putting some order into our kaleidoscope of dreams. It's time to get serious, folks, and by serious, I mean drafting a business plan, working out a budget, and researching loan options. Don't worry, you can still keep your flower crown on while doing it.
Now, the downside: Saturn in Pisces can feel a bit intrusive, like a celestial spotlight beaming directly into our daydreams. We might feel a tad restless, have more anxiety than a cat in a rocking chair store, or even suffer from sleep deprivation. But fret not, my starry-eyed friends, it's all part of the process.
Take this as a sign to prioritize inner peace. Meditate, take a leisurely stroll in the forest, practice deep breathing, or simply take a nap (but keep a dream journal handy!). You can even hit the hay earlier than usual to give your mind some extra downtime. This transit is all about tapping into the deep wisdom that can only come when we quiet our minds and listen. So let's lean into it and see what Auntie Saturn and Uncle Pisces have in store for us!
Uranus
Uranus is in Taurus
Uranus is prograde at 23 Tau 02' 34", moving at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 2922930741km away and approaching.
Neptune
Neptune is in Pisces
Neptune is retrograde at 27 Pis 03' 29", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 4342373727km away and approaching.
Pluto
Pluto is in Capricorn
Pluto is retrograde at 28 Cap 28' 07", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 5077536300km away and receding.
Alright, celestial enthusiasts! Get your telescopes, star maps, and Saturday night fever ready because we're venturing into the cosmic disco of galaxies. Yes! It's Pluto, our underdog planet, shaking its groove thing in serious Capricorn. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Isn't Pluto a dwarf planet?" Well, my friends, in the grand waltz of the cosmos, size doesn't matter. It's all about how you use your gravitational pull!
Now, Pluto and Capricorn are like the power couple of the solar system, always striving for success and power... they're basically the Beyonce and Jay-Z of the galaxy. But with great power comes... well, you know, a tendency to forget the little people. Or in this case, the other planets' viewpoints. And let me tell you, Saturn is not happy about being ignored. It's throwing cosmic side-eye like it's going out of style!
During this transit, we may find ourselves tossing aside compassion like yesterday's horoscope. But remember folks, nobody likes a cosmic bully. So keep those interstellar ears open for ideas other than your own. You wouldn't want to miss an enlightening conversation with Uranus, now would you?
But here's where it gets really fun. Old man Pluto, bless his icy heart, wants us to break free from our negative patterns. Yikes! Sounds like a recipe for a cosmic meltdown. But fear not, my stargazing compadres. This is a chance for some good ol' fashioned constructive destruction (it's like spring cleaning, but with more existential dread).
So as Pluto boogies down in Capricorn, remember to be deliberate in what you destroy in your life. Because let's face it, nobody wants to accidentally incinerate their collection of Star Trek memorabilia during a bout of cosmic cleansing. Trust me, I've been there.
And there you have it, folks! Pluto in Capricorn: a cosmic comedy in progress. Tune in next time for more astronomical antics, and remember – keep your eyes on the stars and your feet on the ground. Unless you're an astronaut. Then do whatever floats your boat. Or spaceship.
