Solar activity continued at low levels this period as C-class flares were observed from multiple regions on the disk. The largest flare of the period, a C4.1/Sf flare at 24/2214 UTC, originated from Region 3405 (N09W61, Hsx/alpha). Region 3413 (N10E46, Eki/beta) remained a single spot group as the additional trailer spots dissipated during the past 24 hours. It was, however, the most magnetically complex spot group, and continued to develop trailer and intermediate spots. Region 3415 (S09E49, Dko/beta) was the largest group on the disk, yet only produced B- and C-class flares. The remaining numbered sunspot regions were unremarkable. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is high, making retrograde effects significantly increased!
The solar wind environment reflected a mostly background regime through midday. Just after 24/1200 UTC, total field strength began to increase, going from around 5 nT to just under 10 nT. Bz was generally north to near-neutral before deflecting southward to ~7 nT and becoming variable between +/- 8 nT. Wind speeds averaged near 410 km/s before increasing to around 450 km/s, and eventually peaking near 525 km/s. The phi angle remained in a mostly negative orientation until just after 24/1700 UTC. These enhancements are likely attributed to a CIR ahead of the onset of a positive polarity CH HSS.
There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 5% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Hold on to your pocket protectors, star gazers! Mercury has made a cosmic leap into Virgo, and it's like Sheldon Cooper just walked into a Star Trek convention - he's right at home and loving every minute. This is a period where our minds become as sharp as a Vulcan's ears, and our speech? Let's just say you'll be cutting through the clutter like a lightsaber through butter.
Why waste time sugar-coating words when you could be nibbling on the juicy facts instead? Virgo is the Marie Kondo of the zodiac, joyfully tossing out unnecessary details and keeping only what sparks intellectual joy. As Mercury moonwalks its way through Virgo (Yes, it's in retrograde, but doesn't everything seem to be these days?), our knack for analyzing information could make Sherlock Holmes blush.
Productivity is about to hit warp speed, and while it might feel as thrilling as watching paint dry in real-time, the potential progress is akin to upgrading from dial-up to broadband - huge! Kiss those dead-end ideas and circular conversations goodbye. It's all about laser focus on details and useful information now.
But, like a poorly executed science experiment, there can be side effects. Beware of morphing into a hyper-critical Hulk. Sure, discernment is a superpower, but with Mercury in Virgo, we may find faults faster than a quantum computer solves equations. We may even start nitpicking ourselves or unintentionally insult others with our brutal honesty. It's time to channel your inner diplomat and remember that tact is as vital as fact. Yes, even if it means resisting the urge to point out that your friend's Star Wars trivia is from the non-canon extended universe.
Remember folks, Mercury may be 102813824.859054238km away, but that doesn't mean it can't stir up some serious cosmic vibes. So, strap in, power up your mental shields, and prepare to embark on an interstellar journey of precision, productivity, and maybe a little too much perfectionism. Beam us up, Mercury!
