Solar activity returned to low levels this period. Region 3480 (S08E27, Dao/beta-gamma) remained the most magnetically complex region, but did appear to be losing its intermediate spots. It remained fairly active, but only produced low-level C-class flares. The largest flare of the period, a C9.3, originated from just beyond the NW limb, likely from old Region 3472 (N21, L=339). Region 3477 (S14E04, Cko/Beta) also exhibited signs of decay, losing most of its peripheral spots, and remained inactive. The remaining regions on the visible disk were unremarkable.
The solar kp index is active, reinforcing retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
Solar wind parameters began the period moderately enhanced as effects from the 03 Nov CME lingered. Total magnetic field strength decreased from a peak of 18 nT at the beginning of the period to ~6 nT by the end. The Bz component began the period mostly southward, with a maximum deflection to -15 nT. It then began to fluctuate between +/- 10 nT before turning mostly north by the end of the period. Solar wind speeds began the period in the low 400 km/s range, but increased several times to reach peaks near 600 km/s, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, and ~800 km/s, as measured by the ACE satellite. Aside from an approximately 3 hour period early in the day, Phi has remained mostly in a negative orientation.
There is a 29% chance of solar activity, with a 40% chance of a minor event, a 30% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Listen up, folks! Jupiter, the big cheese of our solar system, has decided to take a vacation in good ol' Taurus. Imagine a Buddha-like figure trying to squeeze into a bull costume and you'll get the picture. This is like the Universe’s version of a slow-motion reality show, where wisdom meets stubbornness, and we all wait with bated breath for the inevitable sitcom-esque shenanigans.
Jupiter is all about growth and expansion, but Taurus? Well, Taurus likes to take things slow and steady. So, if you're feeling the urge to compile a to-do list longer than the Star Trek series and spin-off episodes combined, don't fret! It's just Jupiter and Taurus playing cosmic chess with your ambitions. Just remember – Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was the Death Star.
Now, let's talk money. Taurus loves its cash and Jupiter is, well, Jupiter - the bringer of luck and fortune. So, there's a pretty good chance that the cosmic till might ring-a-ding-ding in your favor. But beware, this isn't a free pass to splurge on that lightsaber replica or life-sized Spock cutout you've been eyeing. Taurus may be indulgent, but even a celestial bull knows when to say "no".
So, as Jupiter takes its leisurely stroll through Taurus, let's all remember to balance our inner Yoda's wisdom with our outer Wookie's impatience. Take time to sniff the roses, maybe even plant a few. Remember, it's not the destination, but the journey...even if that journey is 596418437.952623725km long and in retrograde.
Saturn

Saturn is prograde at 00 Pis 31' 16", moving at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 1411365942km away and receding.
Uranus
Uranus is in Taurus
Uranus is retrograde at 21 Tau 19' 49", moving backwards at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 2788134539km away and approaching.
Alright, fellow star gazers, grab your space helmets and buckle up because Uranus, the celestial rebel, has parked its cosmic caboose in the tranquil pastures of Taurus. Yes, you heard it right. The planet named after a Greek god of the sky who was also the grandfather of Zeus is hanging out in the sign of the Bull - and boy oh boy, this could turn into a sci-fi rodeo!
Now, Taurus is the astrological version of your old uncle who likes to sip on his herbal tea while solving crossword puzzles in his favorite armchair. He enjoys the status quo, the comfort of routine, and the calm of stability. Throw in Uranus, the surprise party enthusiast, and you can imagine the kind of chaos we're talking about. It's like the universe decided to give Taurus a surprise visit from a hyperactive, unpredictable relative. But hey, change is the only constant in the universe, right?
And where does Taurus love stability the most? That's right, in their piggy banks. Uranus, however, has different plans. During its seven-year-long tour in Taurus, we can expect a revolution in our financial systems. Think of it as changing your regular dollars into Galactic Credits or even Schrute Bucks (for all you Office fans). Banks might face a cosmic audit, and the stock and housing markets could be in for a roller coaster ride. Strap in, folks, it's going to be a wild ride!
On the personal front, Uranus in Taurus is like a financial guru urging us to cut the strings attached to material possessions. Debts, taxes, credit card interest, rent, mortgages - these are the cosmic chains that bind us. The good news is, Uranus is here to play the role of intergalactic locksmith. Resisting the change? Well, that's about as effective as trying to stop a meteor shower with an umbrella.
Remember, fellow star wanderers, the change brought by Uranus may seem turbulent at first, but it can lead us to a state of greater stability. It's like a cosmic reboot for our financial and material world. So, let's embrace this change with open arms and a sense of humor. After all, we're all just stardust navigating this grand cosmic journey together.
Neptune
Neptune is in Pisces
Neptune is retrograde at 25 Pis 07' 26", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 4375965114km away and receding.
Pluto
Pluto is in Capricorn
Pluto is prograde at 28 Cap 04' 19", moving at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 5258977094km away and receding.
Alright, stargazers! Grab your pocket protectors and strap on those safety goggles, because things are about to get all kinds of cosmic. Our little dwarf buddy Pluto has decided to take a tour in the neighborhood of Capricorn. And let me tell you, this is not your average interstellar sleepover!
Now, Pluto and Capricorn might seem like they're the nerds at the astrological lunch table, always plotting their next step to universal domination. But let me remind you, these two aren't just power-hungry, they're efficiency addicts. They're like the kid who finished their science project three weeks early and still managed to build a fully functioning model of the Large Hadron Collider... out of toothpicks.
Under this cosmic transit, you might find your compassion for differing viewpoints slipping away faster than the speed of light. So, be careful not to turn into an astrological autocrat, dismissing other's ideas like they're as irrelevant as the ninth decimal place of Pi (sorry, 9!). Remember, variety is the spice of life... and the universe!
Pluto, our tiny celestial overachiever, is all about chucking out the old and bringing in the new. But there's a catch - this isn't a simple spring cleaning, we're talking about a garage demolition level of change. So, as you set out to create your new reality, be explicit about what you're willing to let go. You don't want to accidentally junk your favorite Star Trek memorabilia in the process.
So, stargazers, as Pluto takes a stroll through Capricorn, remember to stay open-minded, embrace change, and above all, keep those Vulcan salutes high!
The Sun
You should have lots of energy and vitality today. Go out and get some exercise. Be careful not to get into arguments with your superiors or with people in authority, like policemen. Avoid confrontations that involve your ego. Instead, channel the energy and potential hostility into something creative like your favorite hobby. The important thing is to express yourself in a constructive manner. How about playing in the park with a group of children? Do not overexert yourself or put too much strain on your heart. This means controlling your temper. Anger is one of the hardest things on your heart. Don't lay out in the sun too long. You may burn easier today than normal. Watch yourself around the stove or anything hot. Focus on being humble. Put your ego in the backseat.
The Sun
Today will be one of optimism and self-confidence. Your only danger is in becoming over-confident. Don't bite off more than you can chew. Watch the tendency towards self-aggrandizement, false pride, and over-indulgence in food and drink. Don't overspend.
Although their intentions are generally good, people with challenging aspects between the Sun and Jupiter are given to overdoing things. They can easily gloss over realistic details and get themselves into debt, overindulge in pleasures such as food and drink, and promise more than they can deliver.
For the most part, they find help for their excesses. Somebody’s there to bail them out, as plenty of people believe that their hearts are in the right place. Generally, this is the case, but if excessive behavior becomes a pattern, and the natives continually face light consequences, there is the danger that they will not learn from their mistakes and abuse the “system”, relying on their friends and family to help them out a little too often. Their reputation for being good people, thus, can eventually be used to further their purposes.
However, many people with this aspect don’t fall into the trap of losing their sincerity. They are generous, helpful, and charitable. Still, the tendency to live beyond their means is a real threat that many struggle with much of their lives. Another thing to watch for is depression. These people tend to go through periods of intense highs when they are excessively optimistic. These periods are so marked that they seem to be unnatural and a fall seems to be inevitable. They can make promises they intend to keep, but have a problem with follow-through. Self-control can be a real problem. Usually quite knowledgeable and generous with their time, these people have many talents that they may take for granted.
Some Famous People with Sun in Hard Aspect to Jupiter: Squares – Billy Crystal, Ian Scott Anderson (Jethro Tull), Nell Carter, Edgar Cayce, Linda Goodman, George Lucas, the Olsen twins, Dolly Parton, John Ritter, Oscar Wilde; Oppositions – Robert Duvall, Beau Bridges, Monica Lewinsky, James Earl Jones, Kevin Costner.
Alternate interpretations:
Note: The square, semi-square, sesquiquadrate, and opposition are also called “hard”, “challenging”, or “inharmonious” aspects.
Sun opposition Jupiter: Children with this aspect often need to learn to listen, because they may have a tendency of doing the opposite of what they are told! Basically a positive placement indicating enormous energy and radiance, the pitfall of the Sun/Jupiter opposition is overconfidence manifesting as a tendency to take on too many projects at once or a tendency to delve into projects without prior training. There is a tendency to think “I can do anything!” which is fine as long as the child is willing to go through the necessary training to get there! He could get carried away when it comes to vocational choices, following rainbows! This going against himself, so to speak, may also bring him in opposition to those in authority. Help him examine carefully the choices he makes. Insist he finish what he begins, and insist he promise only that which objectively can be fulfilled. Teach your child the importance of right timing and punctuality! Check the nature of the signs and houses that the Sun and Jupiter are in for greater insight in balancing the qualities of this polarity. — Interpretation from the Child Star Report.
Sun opposition Jupiter: You aim high, dream big dreams, and have a tremendous sense of what is possible for you to achieve. Overconfidence, grandiosity, lack of humility, and/or extreme discontent in modest circumstances may be your faults. Generally, however, your great expectations and enterprising spirit lead to success. Business, especially when there is an element of risk and speculation, suits you well. — Interpretation from the Merlin Report.
Sun opposition Jupiter: Sometimes you’re prone to unrealistically high expectations, and this in turn can cause frustration when real life doesn’t measure up.
Your optimism and self-confidence will go through periods of being exceedingly high, making you feel invincible. You’ll experience more satisfaction if you take the time to think things through and proceed with patience and even a certain amount of caution. — Interpretation from the Your Life Path Report.

Your emotions are deep and powerful. As they say, still waters run deep. Today might be a good day to redecorate or make other changes to your home with the hope of bringing greater beauty and harmony into your life. It's a good time to find new uses for old or discarded items which no longer serve your purposes. Emotional self-regeneration is possible with these energies.
