Solar activity was at moderate levels. Region 3499 (S17W09, Beta) produced an M1.1/1f (R1-Minor) flare at 24/0933 UTC, the strongest of the period. Alongside the flare was a filament channel, near S28W29, which also appeared to erupt. A subsequent CME was observed in SOHO/LASCO C2 imagery after 24/1000 UTC. Analysis and modeling of the event indicated no Earth-directed component.
The solar kp index is unsettled, with retrograde effects slightly enhanced. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
Solar wind parameters were mostly near background levels. Total magnetic field strength ranged from 4-9 nT, increasing to 12 nT near the end of the day. Bz reached as far south as -7 nT at 24/1853 UTC. Solar wind speeds were near 350 km/s for most of the day, with an increase to near 450 km/s observed near the end of the day. Phi angle was in a predominantly positive orientation.
There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 15% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Set phasers to stunning, stargazers! Venus, that celestial diva of love and beauty, has sashayed into the chic and balanced sign of Libra. Now, I don't know about you, but I always picture Venus as a Queen donned in her best Starfleet uniform, delivering diplomatic solutions with the grace of a ballet dancer and the precision of Spock at a chess tournament.
While our lovely Venus is waltzing through Libra, relationships feel less like Klingons locked in combat and more like a peaceful gathering of Vulcans. Even your most argumentative ex might seem to have been replaced with a logical, calm doppelgänger. It's like we've all been hit with a charm ray gun, avoiding conflict and sweeping issues under the rug more efficiently than a Roomba on Red Bull.
In this cosmic dance, love isn't a tug-of-war, it's a cooperative mission. You're not aiming for a 50/50 split, you're both giving 100%. And if you're not, well, that imbalance will stick out like a Tribble on the Starship Enterprise. But fret not, my friends! The beauty of Venus in Libra is that it comes with a built-in diplomacy protocol. So if your star-crossed romance is veering towards a black hole, now is the time to course correct and recalibrate.
And lest we forget, both Venus and Libra have a keen eye for aesthetics. While Venus is doing the cosmic catwalk in Libra, we'll be compelled to surround ourselves with beauty and style. Think Captain Picard in a freshly laundered uniform or Data after a good polish. Now's the time to splurge on an updated look or add a touch of elegance to your space - maybe with a replica of the Enterprise, eh?
So, ready your tricorders and steady your hearts. It's time to love boldly, seek balance, and embrace peace. Let's make the most of this Venusian voyage, and remember, in the immortal words of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, 'Things are only impossible until they're not.' So, engage!
Mars
Mars is in Sagittarius
Mars is prograde at 00 Sag 35' 44", moving at 0.71 degrees per day, and is 376156270km away and approaching.
Alright, folks, break out your cosmic road maps because Mars is doing the astral equivalent of a Route 66 trip through Sagittarius. You know Sagittarius, right? That free-wheeling, bow-toting centaur who always sees the glass not just as half-full, but brimming over with quantum possibilities. And Mars, our resident red planet, is trading in its usual warrior vibes for a dash of Sagittarius's boundless optimism. So buckle up, stargazers, we're in for a ride!
Now, imagine if Mr. Spock suddenly decided to go on a road trip with The Dude. That's us with Mars in Sagittarius. We've got our phasers set to 'Explore' and we're boldly going where no man has gone before! But remember, while it's all fun and games to chase that rainbow across the cosmos, we might end up missing the pot of gold that's right under our noses. So, keep one eye on the stars, but don't forget to check your rearview mirror for the blessings in your backyard.
And speaking of going overboard, Mars in Sagittarius has a way of making us think we're invincible...like we can eat that third slice of pizza and not feel it later. Spoiler alert: you're gonna feel it. So, remember to channel your inner Goldilocks: not too much, not too little, just right!
This cosmic combo is also an ideal time to broaden your horizons. And no, I don't mean booking that one-way ticket to Mars (though with Elon Musk around, who knows?). I'm talking about opening your heart and mind to diverse perspectives, cultures, ideas... maybe even trying that weird fusion cuisine down the street. Who knows, you might find that sushi burritos are your new jam!
So, whether you're planning a physical journey or just hitchhiking through the galaxy of the mind, remember to make the most of Mars in Sagittarius. It's like a Star Trek episode with a Coen brothers twist. Enjoy the ride!
Jupiter
Jupiter is in Taurus
Jupiter is retrograde at 07 Tau 42' 02", moving backwards at 0.11 degrees per day, and is 608313370km away and receding.
Saturn
Saturn is in Pisces
Saturn is prograde at 00 Pis 53' 41", moving at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 1455498245km away and receding.
Alright, folks, it's time to put on your space goggles and tune into the cosmic frequencies as our old pal Saturn does a little cha-cha slide into Pisces. Now, I could tell you that Saturn is approximately 1455412206.171227217km away (give or take a few inches), but let's be real, unless you're planning on hopping onto a rocket ship anytime soon, that info is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. But hey, don't shoot the messenger, I'm just a humble star whisperer!
What you really need to know is that Saturn in Pisces is like having a life coach who happens to be a fish - sounds a bit odd, right? But stick with me. This is the time when Saturn, the cosmic taskmaster, dips its toes in the mystical waters of Pisces, the daydreamer. It's like if Dumbledore decided to pop in on SpongeBob SquarePants for a cup of tea and some deep existential chats.
Don't be fooled though, Saturn being in Pisces isn't a walk in the park… more like a swim in the ocean. This celestial ballet could feel like someone is taking a deep dive into your dreams and desires, which might feel as comfortable as a porcupine in a balloon factory. But remember, even though Saturn might seem like the strict teacher who always gives out homework, it's actually trying to help you turn your wildest dreams into reality. So, toss away the "Do Not Disturb" sign and let the cosmic dad do his thing. You'll thank him later.
However, keep in mind that all this celestial choreography might mess a bit with your sleep schedule. Pisces is the ruler of dreams and sleep, so Saturn's visit might turn your nights into something out of an Edgar Allan Poe poem. But fear not! This is the perfect excuse to embrace your inner hippie. Meditate, take long walks, practice deep breathing, or even take a nap in the middle of the day (but don’t forget your dream journal!).
So buckle up, star gazers, because while Saturn is doing the backstroke through Pisces, things are about to get interesting!

Pluto
Pluto is in Capricorn
Pluto is prograde at 28 Cap 22' 43", moving at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 5302423072km away and receding.
Well, folks, you might want to buckle up because Pluto, that icy little underdog of our cosmic neighborhood, has sauntered into the stern and ambitious realm of Capricorn. I mean, it's not like Pluto just woke up one morning and decided to take a leisurely 5.3 billion kilometer stroll into the sign of the Seagoat. But still, we're talking about a planet that once got kicked out of the cool kids' club for being too small—only to be let back in because space scientists realized they've got a soft spot for underdogs.
Now, Pluto and Capricorn share a love for power suits and 5-year-plans, which means that their meetup could result in some seriously high productivity levels. But remember, these two aren't exactly known for their warm, fuzzy feelings. They're the kind of duo who would throw a surprise party and then give everyone a performance review afterwards. So, during this transit, you might find yourself shrugging off other people's opinions like a bad '80s hairstyle.
But here's the thing: Pluto's all about renovating our life from the basement up. It's like that one friend who convinces you to do a juice cleanse after a weekend of junk food binging. Sure, it sounds like a terrible idea at first, but you end up feeling pretty spectacular afterwards. Under Pluto's influence, we're encouraged to toss out the metaphorical trash in our lives. Just make sure you're not throwing out the good stuff with the bad, okay? You wouldn't want to accidentally toss out your favorite Star Wars mug along with those expired coupons from 2008.
So, embrace the power of Pluto in Capricorn. Just remember to keep your laser focus from turning into a Death Star, annihilating everything in its path. Take it easy, and may the force (and the cosmos) be with you!
The Sun
You should have lots of energy and vitality today. Go out and get some exercise. Be careful not to get into arguments with your superiors or with people in authority, like policemen. Avoid confrontations that involve your ego. Instead, channel the energy and potential hostility into something creative like your favorite hobby. The important thing is to express yourself in a constructive manner. How about playing in the park with a group of children? Do not overexert yourself or put too much strain on your heart. This means controlling your temper. Anger is one of the hardest things on your heart. Don't lay out in the sun too long. You may burn easier today than normal. Watch yourself around the stove or anything hot. Focus on being humble. Put your ego in the backseat.
