Solar activity was low, with a few C-class flares and background flux near or at C-class levels. Six designated sunspot groups were present on the visible solar disk. Region 3533 (N14W52, Dao/beta) produced a C9.7 flare at 29/0754 UTC, but underwent steady decay throughout most of the period. Region 3534 (S13E30, Dao/beta) experienced minor growth followed by some decay. The remaining regions underwent decay or were little changed. Region 3530 (N06W77, Dao/beta) began to rotate to the limb and could not be analyzed accurately due to severe foreshortening. However, it was somewhat unstable as it produced a C6.5 flare at 29/2017 UTC.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
Solar wind parameters were indicative of mild to moderate enhancements in the IMF. These were likely due to anticipated CME arrivals near Earth. Total IMF strength varied and ranged mainly from 5 to 11 nT, while the Bz component underwent primarily weak deviations. Solar wind speed steadily declined from ~425 km/s to just under 350 km/s before ending the period at about 375 km/s. The phi angle was positive until near 29/1134 UTC when it deflected into a negative sector.
There is a 25% chance of solar activity, with a 1% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Alright Astro-nerds, buckle up! Our favorite celestial speedster, Mercury, has just entered the sprawling cosmos of Sagittarius. You know what that means... it's time to dust off your telescopes, pull out your calculators, and prepare for some cosmic calculus!
Imagine if Spock and Indiana Jones had a baby, and that baby was a planet – that's Mercury in Sagittarius. It's all about merging precision with adventure, and logic with unbounded curiosity. It's an astrological bromance between the meticulous planner and the daring explorer.
While Mercury loves to be the cosmic fact-checker, Sagittarius is busy dreaming about what lies beyond the final frontier. Now, while scientist in me is saying "Hold on, let's verify those facts first," the hippie in me is saying, "Dude, just go with it!" This is the perfect time to put on your space goggles and take a wild ride through the quantum foam. Just remember to keep your reason at hand, we wouldn’t want to get lost in a black hole of misinformation now, would we?
Mercury in Sagittarius is like a cosmic debate club meeting. Expect passionate discussions, enthusiastic ideas, and perhaps a few heated arguments. But remember, this isn't the time to go full Klingon on each other. Let's appreciate the diversity in our interstellar viewpoints. And for goodness' sake, engage your mental filters before you engage your warp drives. We are, after all, creatures of intellect, not emotion...right?
Let's talk archers and explorers for a moment. Sagittarius, the cosmic Robin Hood, inspires us to aim for the stars. With Mercury acting as your celestial GPS, the possibilities are as limitless as the multiverse itself. Whether you're pondering about quantum physics, planning an expedition to the kitchen (the final frontier during a pandemic), or simply looking for a new career in astrobiology, this is the time to broaden your horizons.
So, fellow cosmic travelers, during this Mercury in Sagittarius transit, let’s remember to be kind, be curious, and always... always triple-check your calculations. We wouldn’t want to end up in the wrong galaxy, would we?
Venus
Venus is in Sagittarius
Venus is prograde at 00 Sag 30' 10", moving at 1.21 degrees per day, and is 175171713km away and receding.
Mars
Mars is in Sagittarius
Mars is prograde at 26 Sag 01' 20", moving at 0.74 degrees per day, and is 363379933km away and approaching.
Hey star gazers! Guess who's crashed the celestial party? It's Mars, and he's just strutted into Sagittarius' territory, like a space cowboy with a swagger in his step. You know how Mars is - always the life of the party, turning heads, and stirring things up. And Sagittarius, well, let's just say he doesn't mind a bit of chaos.
Now, I'm not saying we're all about to transform into Indiana Jones overnight, but with Mars in Sagittarius, you might feel the urge to don a fedora and whip and start exploring old ruins. Or, at least, make a daring dash to the grocery store for that exotic fruit you can't pronounce.
This transit is all about pushing boundaries and expanding horizons - it's like we've all been given a free pass to the Universal theme park and told to go wild. Sure, there's a risk of going overboard. You know, like signing up for a salsa class and then buying all the sparkly outfits, even though you've never danced a step in your life. But hey, life is short, and Mars in Sagittarius is all about finding your groove, even if it's a little out there.
And speaking of "out there," this is the perfect time to take that trip you've been dreaming of. Not a lazy beach holiday, though. No, this is about expanding your mind and heart, connecting with different cultures, and getting lost in the maze of life. Of course, if budget or lockdowns are a concern, remember that exploration isn't always about jetting off to far-flung places. Pick up a book on a new subject, learn to cook a foreign cuisine, or binge-watch a docu-series on quantum physics. The universe is vast, and there's always something new to discover.
So, pack your bags (literal or metaphorical), because this Mars in Sagittarius transit is about to take us on a wild adventure. Strap in, folks! It's going to be a fun ride!
Jupiter
Jupiter is in Taurus
Jupiter is retrograde at 05 Tau 34' 56", moving backwards at 0 degrees per day, and is 666667550km away and receding.
Good news, star gazers! Our jolly giant Jupiter has set up camp in the chill pasture of Taurus. Now, this may seem like a strange pairing, like pineapple on pizza or socks with sandals, but trust me it's a match made in the cosmos. It's like a cosmic buddy cop movie - Jupiter, the wise-cracking planet of wisdom, and Taurus, the no-nonsense bull sign. Together, they're reminding us that we don't need to be Indiana Jones searching for the Holy Grail. The answers are right there within us. Probably somewhere between the spleen and appendix, I reckon.
This celestial combo is a bit like a motivational coach with a whip (don't worry, Jupiter's whip is metaphorical). It's time to dust off those dreams you've been hoarding in your mental attic, make a to-do list, and start ticking off those items. Think of it as spring cleaning for your life goals. But remember, Rome wasn't built in a day, unless you're playing Civilization on easy mode. Thanks to Taurus' patient and bull-headed charm, you'll take your time and do it right.
Now let's talk money, honey! While Jupiter is like your cool, lottery-winning uncle, Taurus is more of a sensible savings account. These two together could yield some serious financial gains. So, if you've been thinking about investing in a collection of vintage Star Wars action figures, now might be your chance. But don't go wild! Taurus is known to be a bit of an indulgent party animal and Jupiter, well, he's not exactly known for his restraint. Keep your impulses in check, or you might end up with a room full of Jar Jar Binks figurines... and nobody wants that.
So buckle up, space cadets! Jupiter in Taurus is here to remind us that wisdom isn't always found in a library or at the bottom of a pint. Sometimes it's just about looking within, making a plan, and taking it slow. May the force...err I mean, the cosmic energy be with you!
Saturn
Saturn is in Pisces
Saturn is prograde at 03 Pis 05' 30", moving at 0.09 degrees per day, and is 1536583920km away and receding.
Uranus
Uranus is in Taurus
Uranus is retrograde at 19 Tau 25' 23", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 2835292788km away and receding.
Alright folks, buckle up and put on your geek glasses because things are about to get astronomical. The 2835233943.458848476km-away rebel of the solar system, Uranus, has shimmied its way into the sign of Taurus, and boy, it's like watching Spock try to convince Captain Kirk to ditch the Enterprise for a Prius. Change is on the horizon, my friends, and Taurus, bless its stubborn little heart, is clinging onto the status quo like a cat to a curtain during a vacuuming session.
Now, we all know Taurus has a thing for the moolah. Loves it, worships it, probably has a secret shrine dedicated to it in the closet. But with Uranus in town, the bull's gonna have to learn how to surf on Bitcoin or something because the traditional ways of handling money are about to be as outdated as dial-up internet.
We're talking major reboots in banking, the stock market partying like it's 1929, and the emergence of currencies so new they make cryptocurrencies look like ancient relics. It's like the financial equivalent of swapping your comfortable old sneakers for a pair of hover boots.
But don't panic. This isn't a sci-fi movie where the robots end up enslaving humanity. Uranus is here to help. To liberate us from the shackles of debt, taxes, and that soul-crushing mortgage. Sure, it's going to feel a bit like trying to do yoga on a rollercoaster at first, but trust me, it's for the best.
So, let go of your materialistic anxieties, embrace the changes, and remember: even if the ride gets bumpy, you're not just surviving...you're boldly going where no one has gone before.
Neptune
Neptune is in Pisces
Neptune is prograde at 25 Pis 03' 06", moving at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 4504892626km away and receding.
Pluto
Pluto is in Capricorn
Pluto is prograde at 29 Cap 18' 15", moving at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 5361065300km away and receding.
Greetings, star voyagers! Today, we're warping into the deep, cosmic world of Pluto in Capricorn. Now, I know what you're thinking - "Oh no, not another celestial body influencing my life!" But don't panic! You won't need a Vulcan nerve pinch to get through this.
Picture this: you're at the helm of the Starship Enterprise and Captain Picard orders warp speed towards Capricorn, only to find Pluto hanging out there, some 5,361,042,373.941276 kilometers away. (Yeah, that's precise, thanks to my nerdy side.) And guess what? It's moving prograde! Or in non-astrogeek terms, forward. Now, let's translate this cosmic event into something relevant for us earthlings.
Both Pluto and Capricorn are like the Borg of the zodiac - focused, driven, and a tad too serious. They're all about success and power, which can be great unless it means assimilating everyone else's viewpoints in the process. Remember, resistance is not futile! It's okay to listen to others' ideas and not just your own. We don't need any more cosmic dictators!
Now, here's where it gets interesting. Pluto is a bit like a cosmic Mr. Clean. It wants us to ditch our negative patterns that are as outdated as shoulder pads on a Starfleet uniform. Sure, this might mean some constructive destruction, like when the Enterprise had to blow up a few rogue Borg cubes. So, be deliberate about what you're destroying in your life. You wouldn't want to accidentally jettison the warp core now, would you?
So, buckle up, fellow star travelers. It's going to be a fascinating voyage with our far-out friend, Pluto, in the driver's seat. And remember, in the immortal words of Mr. Spock: "Live long and prosper."
