Solar activity was at low levels. Region 3354 (N13W30, Fkc/beta-gamma-delta) produced the strongest event of the period, a C5.7/1f flare at 30/1003 UTC. The region developed a small delta configuration between some of of the recently developed intermediate spots. No significant development was observed among the remaining four other numbered and spotted active regions. Flux was observed rotating on to the SE limb but more observatory reports are needed before assigning active region numbers.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
Weak enhancements were observed in the solar wind. Total magnetic field strength was slightly elevated and ranged between 3-7 nT. Bz only briefly reached -5 nT at 06/0330 UTC and 06/0639 UTC. Solar wind speeds increased from ~450 km/s to between ~500-550 km/s over the past 24 hours. Phi angle transitioned from negative to positive at 06/0130 UTC which suggested passage of a SSBC.
There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 25% chance of a minor event, a 5% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Sagittarius
Alright, stargazers, buckle up your seatbelts because the Moon has decided to play house in Sagittarius! If you're thinking, "Well, that's just a smidge over 230,000 miles away, what's that got to do with my life?" then I am here to enlighten you in the most nerdy, hippie way possible. First off, let's take a moment to appreciate the fact that we're talking about the Moon chilling in a constellation that's named after a mythical centaur archer. If that's not the start of an epic space movie, I don't know what is! Now, the Moon in Sagittarius is all about adventure. It's like if Indiana Jones and Luke Skywalker had a cosmic baby – it's wild, it's adventurous, and yes, it might result in you finding yourself in a situation where you're inexplicably dangling from a rope bridge above a pit of snakes. But hey, as Snake Plissken would say, "The world is full of snakes, you just gotta know which ones to pick up." So what does this mean for you? It's time to embrace the unknown, my friend. Order that weird sounding dish from the new vegan restaurant, try out that bizarre hobby you've been curious about, or maybe even adopt a pet iguana. But remember, no matter how far out your adventures take you, don't forget your nerdy roots. Carry a pocket protector and keep the laws of physics in mind while you're out there defying gravity. And if you're feeling overwhelmed by all this, remember, the Moon is a mere 371,198.263961489km away. That's practically next door in cosmic terms. So as you navigate through this lunar cycle, remember the words of wise old Snake, "I don't give a damn about your war... or your president." In other words, focus on your own journey, not the chaos around you. Happy Star-gazing!Mercury is in Cancer
Mercury is prograde at 09 Can 15' 30", moving at 2.18 degrees per day, and is 198496386km away and receding.
Mercury Is In Cancer
Mercury in Cancer: The Starfleet Edition
Greetings, earthlings! Mercury has checked into its astrological Airbnb in the cozy, crabby quarters of Cancer. Now, you might be thinking, "Why should I care? Isn't Mercury just that little planet that's 198,481,613.161040038km away from us?" Well, yes, but it's also the planet that influences how we communicate, think, and perceive the world around us. So buckle up, because things are about to get a bit...crabby. During this transit, our minds and hearts are like two peas in a pod - or should I say, two atoms in a molecule? We're thinking deeply, processing emotions like a sophisticated computer algorithm, and expressing our feelings with the eloquence of Shakespeare...if he was a modern-day scientist, of course. Cancer is like your grandma's house; it's all about comfort, safety, and love. And when Mercury vacations here, we all start communicating like we've just had a massive dose of empathy. We want our loved ones to know they're as cherished as the last slice of pizza at a Star Trek marathon. Now, I know we're all logical beings here. We like facts, figures, and the scientific method. But Mercury's sashay through Cancer encourages us to listen to our instincts and gut feelings too. It's like suddenly being able to hear the whispers of the universe, or like having access to a cosmic Google. But here's the cool part: Mercury in Cancer makes us better listeners. We stop just waiting for our turn to talk and start really understanding what others are saying. It's like we've suddenly realized that silence isn't just the absence of sound, but a space full of meaning. Who knew the universe had so much to say? So during this transit, let's channel our inner Spock and remember that real listening, like the best kind of science, engages both the heart and the mind. Live long and prosper, my friends!Venus is in Leo
Venus is prograde at 20 Leo 56' 37", moving at 0.63 degrees per day, and is 74313020km away and approaching.
Venus Is In Leo
Venus in Leo: The Galactic Drama Queen
Alright, folks, dust off your opera glasses and prepare for the celestial spectacle of the year! Venus, our beloved goddess of love and beauty, has just sashayed into Leo's fiery spotlight, and darlings, she's not here to play small. This is going to be grander than a supernova and hotter than a white dwarf star.
When Venus, the cosmic sweetheart, prances into the realm of Leo, the king of drama, it's like watching a celestial telenovela unfold. Prepare for declarations of love that could outshine the Sun itself and dates that make rom-coms look like documentaries. And jealousy? Oh, honey, when Venus is in Leo, jealousy isn’t just a green-eyed monster, it's a full-blown constellation.
Buckle up, star gazers, because no one is looking to be simply liked during this transit. No, siree! We want to be adored. In fact, we want our names written in the stars, preferably in neon. But remember, channeling your inner diva might leave you with only one name on the marquee: yours. So, don't forget about the "we" in your duet, or you might end up singing a solo.
And what about money, you ask? Well, when Venus is in Leo, money is less of a currency and more of an accessory. It's all about spending big to feel big. Leo's penchant for glitz, glamour, and “Go big or go home” attitude may tempt you to splurge a little (or a lot). But remember, Leo is also about generosity. So, go on, spread the wealth! After all, showering others with thoughtful gifts will fill you with more joy than a shopping spree at the intergalactic Gucci.
To sum it up, Venus in Leo is a cosmic carnival of color, a time to rekindle the passion in your relationships and remind yourself that a life devoid of a bit of drama and excitement is like Pluto without its heart-shaped glacier - just not as fun!
Mars is in Leo
Mars is prograde at 24 Leo 25' 21", moving at 0.6 degrees per day, and is 330892008km away and receding.
Mars Is In Leo
Beep-boop-beep! Good day, my star-gazing friends! Our red buddy, Mars, has decided to take a trip into the fiery, extravagant world of Leo. Now, I know what you're thinking: "What does this mean for me?" Well, don't worry, this won't turn you into a lightsaber-wielding space warrior, but it might just spice up your life a little! Mars in Leo is like a Wookiee at a karaoke night - it's all about having fun, letting loose and possibly, a bit of roaring. So, when Mars swings through Leo's constellation, it's like the universe giving us the green light to embrace joy and positivity. It's time to put on your favorite nerdy t-shirt, fire up your favorite video game, or go out stargazing. It's also a prime time to follow your heart, just like our fearless Jedi knight, Luke Skywalker. Leo rules the heart, after all. So be brave, and pursue what sets your soul on fire. It could be anything from discovering a new galaxy to writing that sci-fi novel you've been dreaming about. But remember, even Darth Vader had a downfall - overconfidence. While Mars is in Leo, there’s a danger of becoming too self-assured, thinking we can defeat the Death Star single-handedly. Just remember, to earn respect, you must give it first. To be admired, you must be admirable. And if you want to be a leader, well, you must lead. Don't just act the part, be the part. Now, Mars in Leo might make you crave a little extra attention. You might find yourself wanting to step into the spotlight, much like our dear friend, R2-D2. But beware, drama can be as contagious as a virus on the HoloNet. If you don’t get the attention you crave, you might feel the need to roar. Remember, balance is key. So, here's the interstellar takeaway: While Mars is vacationing in Leo, it's a stellar opportunity to contemplate the role of ego in your life. After all, the the ego can be as beautiful as a binary sunset or as disastrous as a misfired hyperdrive. This transit offers you a chance to reflect on ego, and hopefully, strike a harmonious balance. Beep-boop-beep! May the stars guide you!Jupiter is in Taurus
Jupiter is prograde at 09 Tau 19' 42", moving at 0.17 degrees per day, and is 806366707km away and approaching.
Jupiter Is In Taurus
Jupiter is in Taurus and boy, oh boy, do we have a cosmic ride ahead!
So, Jupiter, our wise old uncle of the galaxy, has clocked in at 806441683.139794827km away (yes, I counted. Nerdy, remember?). He's currently doing the cosmic equivalent of a moonwalk called prograde. Who said planets couldn't get their groove on?
Let's talk about what this means for us tiny Earthlings. Jupiter is basically our gym trainer, always pushing us to think deeper, while Taurus, our steadfast friend, reminds us that we already have the answers... if only we could remember where we put them. It's like constantly looking for your glasses when they are on your head.
When these two team up, it's like having Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi guiding you. You've got Jupiter's thirst for growth and Taurus' stubborn determination cheering you on, like a cosmic motivational speaker yelling, "Trust in the Force, and you'll reach that goal!"
Now, let's chat about prosperity. Jupiter is the Oprah of the planetary system, always dishing out good luck, while Taurus is the Jeff Bezos, synonymous with wealth. So, with Jupiter in Taurus, there's a pretty good chance you might find a tenner in your old jeans or hit the jackpot. (I'm not making any guarantees though, so don't quit your day job just yet.)
But here's the catch: Taurus loves the good life – fine wine, gourmet cheese, the works. And now that Jupiter, the Santa Claus of planets, is in town, Taurus might be tempted to overindulge. So, remember folks, just because you can eat the entire cake, doesn't mean you should. Leave some for the rest of us!
So, as we journey through this celestial event, remember to tap into your inner wisdom, work towards your dreams, and maybe buy a lottery ticket. But most importantly, enjoy the ride. After all, how often do you get to witness a planetary moonwalk?
Saturn is in Pisces
Saturn is retrograde at 07 Pis 03' 37", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 1377779241km away and approaching.
Saturn Is In Pisces
Saturn in Pisces: The Cosmic Coach
Oh boy, buckle up folks because Saturn—our favorite cosmic taskmaster—is currently crashing the dreamy Pisces party like a rocket scientist at a Renaissance fair. Now, don't panic! This isn't a disaster, it's an opportunity. Imagine, if you will, that Saturn is your personal life-coach, armed with a whistle, clipboard, and a heart full of tough love. He's about to whip those nebulous Piscean dreams into a workable action plan, faster than you can say "quasar."
What does this mean for you? It's time to dust off that daydream of writing 'War and Peace 2: Tolstoy Strikes Back,' or launching your artisanal, eco-friendly, gluten-free, vegan cupcake business. Saturn is here to remind us that dreams are great, but they're even better when they aren't just used as bedtime stories.
Okay, so having Saturn invade your dream space might feel a bit like your dad walking in on you practicing your air guitar solo. Embarrassing? Sure. Necessary? Absolutely! Saturn's not here to ruin the fun, he's here to turn that air guitar into a real Stratocaster. So, put down the hairbrush, pick up a microphone and let's get this show on the road!
Now, Saturn's visit to Pisces might make you feel a bit like you've had five cups of coffee right before bed. You're restless, potentially irritable and there's a high chance of pillow tossing. But fear not, my star children. Embrace the insomnia. Meditate. Take a moonlit walk. Breathe like you're trying to inflate a galaxy. And if all else fails, count sheep...or stars, or moons of Jupiter, whatever works for you!
Yes, Saturn in Pisces might have us feeling like we've been hit by a cosmic defibrillator, but hey, sometimes that's what we need to kickstart those dreams into reality. So, grab that notepad, strap on your astronaut helmet, and let's turn those dreams into a mission plan. Over and out!
Uranus is in Taurus
Uranus is prograde at 21 Tau 42' 51", moving at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 3039090392km away and approaching.
Uranus Is In Taurus
Greetings, star children! It's time to buckle up and brace yourselves because it's cosmic turbulence ahead! Uranus, the rebellious teenager of our solar system, has just moved into the living room of Taurus, the cosmic embodiment of a comfy recliner and a cup of hot cocoa. Now, imagine a teenager with a penchant for blasting heavy metal music entering a quiet, peaceful home. Yeah, you got the picture. Taurus, the celestial champion of status quo, isn't too thrilled about sudden changes. But guess what? Uranus doesn’t care a flying frak about that! Like a plot twist in your favorite sci-fi series, Uranus is here to shake things up, rattle some cages, and maybe even rearrange the furniture while Taurus isn't looking. On the financial front, we're in for a wild ride, folks. Think of it as a Star Trek episode, where suddenly, gold-pressed latinum is replaced by a new form of currency, say, intergalactic space snails. Banks might just become relics of the past, like a VHS tape in a world of streaming. And hold on to your hats because the stock and housing markets might warp faster than the Millennium Falcon on a Kessel Run! On a personal level, Uranus in Taurus is like the Enterprise's tractor beam, pulling us away from the gravitational pull of financial black holes like debt, taxes, and the dreaded credit card interest. It's time to rethink our attachment to material possessions. Do you really need that limited-edition action figure mint in box, or can you live without it? Uranus is not here to make us comfortable. It's here to liberate us, like a benevolent alien race freeing humanity from the clutches of money-hungry overlords. Resistance, as they say in all good space operas, is futile. So, let's embrace the change. Who knows? By the end of this cosmic journey, we might find ourselves in a much better place, like finding Earth after years of aimless wandering in space. Remember, the universe has a plan and it's not always what we expect. So, stay frosty, my friends, and trust in the cosmos!Neptune is in Pisces
Neptune is retrograde at 27 Pis 41' 13", moving backwards at 0 degrees per day, and is 4441382086km away and approaching.
Neptune Is In Pisces
Well, buckle up your asteroid belts, space cadets, because Neptune's decided to crash the Pisces party and boy, is it a cosmic shindig! Now, I know what you're thinking. "But, oh great astro-nerd, isn't Neptune, like, 4.4 billion kilometers away?" Why yes, it is. But in the grand, interstellar scheme of things, that's as close as an Ewok at a Star Wars convention! Now, with Neptune doing the backstroke in the Piscean sea, we're getting a rare glimpse into the Universe's 3D glasses. It's like the Hubble Telescope got an upgrade and suddenly we’re seeing in High Definition! So, what does this mean for us earthlings? Well, it's time to wave goodbye to petty squabbles over who used the last bit of milk - come on, there are galaxies being born out there! Neptune’s retrograde dance in Pisces is lighting up a neon sign that reads: "Hey! You! Yes, you, with the dreams and ideas - it's time to get on board the starship Progress!" So, dust off that dream of yours, whether it's learning the language of the elves or constructing a replica of the Death Star out of Lego. This is the perfect time to dive into that spiritual ocean you've been paddling around in. Ever wanted to learn Jedi mind tricks? Go for it! Been meaning to set up a shrine to Spock at home? Live long and prosper, my friend! Neptune in Pisces is like the galaxy's best cheerleader, encouraging us to share these wacky, wonderful ideas with the world. And remember, if anyone gives you flak for being too 'out there', just remind them: in a universe where a planet can go backwards, anything is possible. So grab your lightsaber and let's navigate this cosmic wave together!Pluto is in Capricorn
Pluto is retrograde at 29 Cap 36' 35", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 5063186213km away and approaching.
Pluto Is In Capricorn
Pluto In Capricorn: A Trek Into the Retrograde
"Fascinating." That's probably how our beloved Vulcan, Mr. Spock, would react if he learnt that Pluto, the dwarf planet best known for its on-again, off-again planetary status (talk about relationship issues), is currently in Capricorn and in retrograde. Now, you might be thinking, "What's the big deal? It's just a tiny ice-rock billions of kilometers away!" But oh boy, are you in for a surprise!
Pluto and Capricorn together are like Starfleet's finest, dedicated, disciplined and focused on their mission. The only problem? They're both as stubborn as a Tellarite in a debate, prone to dismissing other viewpoints faster than a redshirt meets his unfortunate end on an away mission. So, during this planetary transit, you might find yourself behaving like a Borg, intolerant of any ideas that don't assimilate with your own.
But wait, there's more! Pluto, being the cosmic embodiment of that roommate who constantly urges you to declutter your life, wants us to ditch our counterproductive habits. Now, we all know that change is as welcome as a surprise encounter with the Klingons, but remember, even the destruction of the Death Star led to the creation of a better, stronger Rebel Alliance.
So, as Pluto goes on its backward journey, it's time for some introspection. Pick up your metaphorical phaser, set it to 'change', and get ready to boldly go where no one has gone before. And remember, in the wise words of Spock, “Change is the essential process of all existence.”
